Abstract: Cosmeceuticals are a new category of products that are put between cosmetics and pharmaceuticals to improve both skin health and appearance. Cosmeceuticals are manufactured from a multitude of ingredients, Cosmetic ingredient and Mushroom cosmetics are discussed in this article. Given the increasing interest among patients in these products and the strong claims made by manufacturers, it is crucial that doctors recognise these agents and consider their advantages, disadvantages, and possible adverse effects.
