Atul Kaushik, Assistant Professor at Department of Medical Sciences, Orotta College of Medicine & Health Sciences (OCMHS) in Asmara, Eritrea.

Dr. Atul Kaushik completed his Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) in 2001 and awarded with doctoral degree (Organic chemistry- Natural Products) in 2008. With a total research and teaching experience of 22 years, Dr. Kaushik has made significant contributions in his field. He has supervised masters students for their research projects (M.Sc. theses), demonstrating his commitment to mentoring and guiding students in their research endeavors. Dr. Kaushik has been involved in several ongoing and completed research projects on medicinal plants of Eritrea. In addition to his research work, Dr. Atul has published 40 research publications in journal of repute. .

Gomathi Periyasamy, Professor, School of Pharmacy, Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus, Hyderabad. 

Dr. Gomathi Periyasamy obtained her B. Pharmacy from Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai, and M. Pharmacy (2004) and Ph. D (2008) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. She has over 23 years of experience at University/ College level including 9 years of experience at Mekelle University, Ethiopia in teaching and guiding UG and PG students. She has conceded two research grants from Mekelle University recurrent budget supported by NORAD, Norway and two grants from International Foundation for Science (IFS), Sweden. She has published 70 high quality research papers in various peer reviewed International and National Journals and 10 Patents. She has presented 25 research abstracts in various 15 National/International conferences.

Siddaruda M Biradar, Professor and Head, BLDEA’s SSM College of Pharmacy and Research Centre, Vijayapura, India.

Dr. Siddaruda M Biradar had Research experience in Pharmacy Practice/pharmacology. His major areas of research interest are:
• The prescribing pattern of drugs in pediatric patients of a tertiary care hospital.
• Monitoring and reporting of adverse drug reaction with antimicrobials agents in a tertiary care hospital.
• Assessment of Potential Drug-Drug Interactions in Inpatients of Medicine Wards in a Tertiary Care Hospital.
• Psychopharmacological investigations on the benefits of Indian medicinal plants and phytochemicals in the modulation of neurodegenerative disorders.
• Neuroprotective and cognitive enhancement of acacia catechu-catechin against memory impairment in mice.
• Hepatoprotective and Antioxidant Potential of Cuscuta Reflexa Roxb in mice.
• Effect of piper nigrum Linn. Fruit extract on testosterone induced benign prostatic hyperplasia in rats.
• Effect of Ageratum conyzoides Linn on experimental models of inflammatory bowel diseases.
• Study for the potentiating of peripheral neuropathy by continuous therapy of ciprofloxacin in rats.

Amit Gupta, Associate Professor at Department of Microbiology, Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun

Dr. Amit Gupta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun. He has pursued his Doctoral in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar; Post Doctorate Fellow from University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa and National Taiwan University hospital, Taipei; Senior Research Associate (Scientist Pool scheme), in IICT, CSIR Hyderabad and then joined as Senior Scientist in Vidya Pratishthan School of Biotechnology, Baramati. Dr. Gupta is a researcher having several publications in international journals, 4 patents (1 European, 2 US and one Indian patent) and 6 books to his credit. He has been awarded DST young scientist award and several best research paper awards. His areas of interest are Preclinical and clinical studies i.e. vaccine adjuvant development, anti- inflammatory, antimicrobial activity, immunomodulatory, disease model studies, protease isolation against specific protein antigen.

Bhaveshkumar H. Patel, Associate Professor at K B Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Gujarat, India

Dr. Bhaveshkumar H. Patel is having more than 18 years of experience in the field of academic and research activity. He is also working as a Director for YDIK Nature care products Pvt Ltd., Ahmedabad based herbal products manufacturing and marketing organization. So far eight Ph.D. scholars have been awarded degree under his guidance.

 

M Rajathi D Modilal, Assistant Professor, Holy Cross College (Autonomous), Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, India.

Dr. Rajathi has twenty-three years of teaching and three years of research experience. As part of research activities, she has published 35 original articles in research journals of high impact factor at national and international level. Several papers were presented at national and international conferences; received 12 awards for academic excellence and research activities, to name a few, awarded Young Scientist and Gold Medal for the best performance in oral presentation at 14 All India Congress of Zoology at Kanyakumari in the year 2003. Organized a national conference sponsored by DBT in the year 2013. Completed a UGC minor research project between 2016-2018. Delivered several guest lectures in DBT sponsored national level conferences at several places. Serving as core committee member of department of value education (DOVE), authored one chapter for III-year ethics textbook published by DOVE
